I told you I’d do anything, says Tara Bethan

FORMER Nancy hopeful Tara Bethan, knocked out of I’d Do Anything in the third week, has shown the show’s judges that she CAN do anything by scoring the role of narrator in the stage production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Being called a “lovely cheeky puppy” by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber didn’t put the 24-year-old off, and Clwyd-born Tara told us she is “thrilled” to have got the part.

“It’s the role of the narrator and it’s a lead part so I’m really chuffed,” she said.

“The show is on tour at the moment and I have to start tomorrow – in Glasgow!” she added.

“I only found out on Wednesday night so I’m really pleased.

“It was one of the first auditions I did after coming out of I’d Do Anything. I can’t believe it has all happened so quickly.”

Tara will find herself starring alongside another reality TV show ‘loser’, Craig Chalmers as Joseph, who got to the final five of BBC1’s Any Dream Will Do competition before being voted off.

The show will play London’s West End Adelphi Theatre from 17 July.
