Sanchez star Matt misses uni talk

DOZY Dirty Sanchez star Matt Pritchard missed talking to toffs at the Oxford Union because he got his dates mixed up.

Instead the telly nutter, famed for undertaking bonkers stunts on MTV with pals Dainton, Pancho and Joycey, went to Las Vegas for a week to see sporting hero Joe Calzaghe demolish gobby Yank Bernard Hopkins at the Thomas and Mack Centre.

Pritch, from Cardiff, realised his mistake just before he was due to fly to the States but it was too late to change his plans.

The 35-year-old said: “I didn’t realise the date. I was heading for Vegas so they had to do it without me.”

He added: “I totally meant to go but I just messed up the date. But there you are. Bad egg.

“The agent got it wrong and everything. But the fight was good.

“I realised two days before I went away. I tried to change it but it was too late. Yeah, I’m gutted, but at the same time I was in Vegas watching Calzaghe, so I didn’t do that badly really.

“I just had a week of sin instead.”

Dainton and the Sanchers did manage to make it to Oxford for the April 22 address.

The 34-year-old admitted he had a great time and was honoured to have been invited.

He said: “I got up and said ‘in case you don’t know who I am, raise your hand if you’ve never heard of Dirty Sanchez and I’ll give you a bit of background’, but not one person raised their hand.

“I told them about coming from Pontypool in South Wales, and about growing up in the Valleys and how that formed my character.”
