Your band could support Feeder
FEEDER are offering eight unsigned bands the chance to support them on their UK tour.
The Newport rockers are touring intimate venues as they showcase material from their upcoming album Silent Cry (due out in June) and they play at The Point in Cardiff Bay on May 28.
There was such clamour for tickets that the whole tour sold out in six hours.
The band want to use that platform to showcase unsigned artists so they have buddied up with 7digital indiestore, an internet company that allows independent artists to sell their music online.
The competition is open to all unsigned and independent artists and Feeder will select the eight winning acts, with two of those to be chosen as finalists. Feeder themselves will then pick the winner.
Frontman Grant Nicholas said: “We’ve been working very hard on the new album and wanted to let fans hear some of the new material in an intimate setting.
“We also wanted to give fans the chance to really get involved in our warm up gigs.
To enter, artists need to sign up online at indiestore.com/feeder
The competition is open until May 2. The finalists will be announced on May 5 and the ultimate winner on May 12.
