GILFACH GOCH produced a five-star display to secure promotion into Division Two of the Welsh National League with a 42-8 demolition of Aberavon Quins at Beddau.

Abergavenny are also into the Second Division after an 18-3 play-off victory over Cardigan at Loughor.

Centre Stuart Davies, wing Richard McCormack and flanker James Pagett crossed for Abergavenny’s tries with Steve Lang putting over a penalty.

In the Division Five play-offs, Porthcawl came from behind to overcome Cefneithin 27-20 while St Joseph’s edged past Chepstow 10-7.
