Rugby League: Celtic Crusaders 26-18 Halifax

CELTIC Crusaders, in front of yet another healthy Brewery Field crowd, battled atrocious conditions to seal a 26-18 win over joint league leaders Halifax.

The Crusaders didn’t look back after taking the lead in only the third minute when Damien Quinn ran through to score. Mark Lennon converted.

Halifax struck back with an Andy Smith try after 14 minutes, but the Welsh side scored twice in the last three minutes of the first half thanks to Quinn and Tony Duggan, who added a second to seal the win late in the game.
