Rugby League: Welsh rivals clash in play-offs

IT’S play-off weekend in the Co-operative Welsh Conference Premier and six teams battle it out tomorrow for the right to join the Bridgend Blue Bulls in the semi-finals on July 28.

Torfaen Tigers take on Neath Port Talbot Steelers, Newport Titans play Cardiff Demons and Blackwood Bulldogs host Valley Cougars.

Cougars chairman Mark Rowley said: “The players have been brilliant this season and it has been a good campaign, but we don’t want it to end yet.

“The boys are desperate to get to the semis and have another crack at the Blue Bulls.”
