Parks may return

NEWPORT Gwent Dragons have confirmed they are in talks to bring back former Pontypridd and Celtic Warriors flanker Richard Parks back to Wales.

Parks, 29, has failed to hold down a regular place at Perpignan after moving to France from Leeds Tykes.

“We are in discussions with him and his agent and we’re waiting to see if Perpignan will release him from his current contract,” said Dragons rugby manager Jim McCreedy.

“With the potential loss of Michael Owen and Colin Charvis at the World Cup. Richard would add to our strength in depth.”
