CHAZ Davies is hoping to prove a point in the British MotoGP at Donington Park today.

The Welshman has lost his place on the Campetella Racing team but the 19-year-old was thrown a lifeline with an invite to ride the 250cc race for the Arie Molenaar Racing Honda team.

Davies steps in for Frenchman Arnaud Vincent after he suffered four broken ribs in a crash at the Italy GP in Mugello.
