GERAD Adams today reflect on Cardiff Devils’ magnificent run of ice hockey victories and said: “You haven’t seen the best of this team yet.”
The Devils have lost only once in their last 11 matches, a run including wins against Basingstoke Bison (8-4, home) and Nottingham Panthers (2-1, away) last weekend.
“There are areas where we can improve, particularly on defence,” said player-coach Adams.
“But I’m proud of the guys for standing tall when the team needed them.
“They have done all that has been asked of them and more.
“There were times when we had to hang on at Nottingham, but we have a belief within the team now and that saw us through.
“We will work on factors that can improve us as a team and the aim over the rest of the season is to become an even better team through hard work in training and matches.”
This weekend, the Devils travel to Manchester Phoenix on Saturday and then play Nottingham Panthers at home on Sunday (6pm).
Ticket information is available from the box office on 029 2038 2001.
