Taffs Well 44 Cardiff HSOB 28
TAFFS Well completed their home league programme with a win against the old boys.
Both sides decided to go all out attack while defences were slightly fragile. This combination resulted in a frantic first period in which both sides scored four tries, meaning whoever won the game would claim the bonus point.
The second half saw Taffs Well take charge, with the Cardiff side failing to add to their first half score. Taffs Well scored a further two tries to complete the victory. Lee Rowlands grabbed a brace, with one apiece for captain Richard Hughes, Bradley James, Ashley Bonetto and James Barry. Outside-half Dewi Williams landed four conversions and two penalties.
Taffs Well second XV suffered a narrow 12-10 defeat at home to Cwmbran. Daryl Moto and Derry Vaughan scored the home sides tries.
