THE Crusaders led 2-0 after the triples but Dai Jones and Gareth Lewis won the next to pull a leg back for the Lions.

Paul Thomas and Les Thomas made it 3-1 and teammates Ashley Mayne and Craig Jones made it 4-1.

Craig Thomas won the opening singles for 5-1 and Graham Price made it 6-1. Malcolm Price pulled a leg back for the Lions before Paul Thomas made it 7-2.

Dai Jones pulled another leg back and a last leg win for Chris Lewis made the final score 7-4.

Horse and Groom Stallions 9

THE Stallions raced into a 2-0 lead and Steve Nicholas and Adrian Thomas made it 3-0 before Mark Dudley and Bobby Williams pulled a leg back for the Giants.

Darren Morgan and Philip Morris made it 3-2. The Horse then won all six singles thanks to Steve Nicholas, Steve Thomas, Wayne Ward, Martyn Williams, Teg Powell and Tim Slimmon.

THE Magicians hit back after last week’s poor result.

After winning both triples the Magicians won the three pairs thanks to John Thomas/Cled Jones, Ron Morgan/Russ Matthews and Tony Williams/John Donovan to make the score 5-0.

John Thomas won the opening singles to make it 6-0. Further wins for Ron Morgan, Russ Matthews and John Donovan made it 9-0. Meirion Evans pulled a leg back for the Hawks before a last leg win for Tony Williams made the final score 10-1.
