THE ever-improving Six Bells Under-11s side entertained an excellent Pontymister Youth side.
Both sides started strongly, with both defences working hard to keep the scoreline equal at half time.
At the restart Six Bells came out with a lot of determination to win the game, with excellent passing from Tom Verrier and AJ Lane at the back bringing the ball out of defence to the midfield, where Gareth Jenkins and Mitchal Assinder were there to help the ball on to Curtis Pitt in attack.
Some great work in the middle from Dafydd Myson paid off as Six Bells took the lead with a great strike from Mitchal. Rhys Johnson, coming on just after half time, made an impact by scoring a brace of goals.
With Six Bells not giving their opponents an inch, the game was finally won by some great finishing by Curtis Pitt to make it 4-0.
A well-deserved clean sheet from Dafydd Doolan, having stopped some good shots from the strikers.
