ANDY Farnham scored a fine 83 not out, Chris Barnes got 29 and Brian Gist 24 as Barry Wanderers reached 202-7 at home to Creigiau in the Division Two Second XI.
For Creigiau Paul Solanki took 2-18.
But Gareth Thomas (44no), Solanki (43) and Owen Jones (33no) steered Creigiau to a six-wicket win. Colin Rowlands took 2-37 for the Wanderers.
Abertillery made 136 all out at home to Tredegar with Paul Brooks getting 41 and Dave Sheen 26.
Steve Davies took 4-30 for Tredegar and Mark Jones 3-17.
It should have been an easy target but only Gareth Jones (33) and Rob Francis (23) made much impression as Mike Doel took 5-33 to help get them all out 19 runs short.
Monkswood were dismissed for 103 by visitors Dinas Powys. Rob Travers got 24 and Mark Tucker 21 as Neil Islam took 4-12 and Dai Zaman 2-7.
Geoff Colley then made 42 not out as Dinas Powis replied with 106-2.
Leighton Rees (57), Greg Baker (46) and John Kinsey (35no) all got runs as Newbridge totalled 167-4 at home to Caerleon for whom, John Denning took 3-41.
Ian Gladwyn’s 33 couldn’t stave off defeat for Caerleon though as seamer Robert Francis took 6-13 and 15-year-old Nick Deacon 2-20.
