Boxing: Owen maintains run of victories

UNBEATEN Swansea stylist Ricky Owen extended his winning streak to eight with a six-round points victory over Frenchman Frederic Gosset at Dagenham last night.

It was a predictable result.

Gosset, a late replacement after Tanzanian Rashid Ally was refused a visa, has now boxed in Britain on 12 occasions and lost the lot by decision.
