Athletics: Chambers in confident mood

ATHLETICS: Dwain Chambers will compete at today’s Birmingham Games confident that if he achieves the 60m qualifying standard he will take part in next weekend’s world indoor trials.
Chambers’ attempts to return to athletics after a one-season spell trying to forge a new career in American football looked to have been halted, but the authorities have relaxed their comeback rule this week.
