Andrews poised for Keys debut

CROSS KEYS pulled off a shock win at Pontypridd last time out and will be aiming for a four-pointer against a Llandovery side today that rarely travel well.

The Drovers include Wales caps Garan Evans and Ben Broster at full-back and prop respectively, while Steffan Rees comes in for Rob Cunliffe as fly-half and goalkicker.

Keys have a good signing in Leon Andrews from Cardiff as full-back, but his former clubmate, flanker James Malpas, is out with flu and has yet to start a game at his new club.

The match should be an interesting battle with Marcus Johnstone having begun the season well on the wing for Keys and he will be opposed by the lively Owain Rowlands.

Cross Keys: L Andrews; L Humphries, D Dark, D Price, M Johnstone; S Mitchell, O Jones; J Price, L Burns, B Fisher, M Curtis, B Watkins (capt), C Peebles, C Bridges, T Lampard.

Llandovery: Garan Evans; O Rowlands, S Thomas, Rhys O Williams, V Jenkins; S Rees, R Walters (capt); E Howells, E Phillips, B Broster, T Walker, H Pugh, W Williams, Lloyd Phillips, G Williams.
