Double test for Scarlets

LLANELLI face the tough ask of playing at the Arms Park and a rearranged game at Pontypridd on Wednesday, writes Howard Evans.

But they strengthen the back division with the talented pair of Dan Evans at full-back and Rhys Priestland at fly-half.

Club captain Craig Hawkins is still out injured, but hopes to be available on Wednesday.

Adam Powell moves back to his usual spot at lock and continues to be the acting skipper, while Craig Cross is in at tighthead prop and Gareth Davies joins the bench as replacement scrum-half.

Cardiff have won five of their last six league outings and Leigh Halfpenny is likely to boost the back division in both the running and kicking departments, while wing Ryan Howells also appears to be running into form.

Cardiff: to be announced.

Llanelli: D Evans; I Evans, Rhys Williams, J Davies, M Jacobs; R Priestland, J James; I Jones, K Owens, C Cross, A Powell (capt), D Day, L Jones, D Godfrey, R McCusker.
