Bonus boost for Felinfoel

FELINFOEL went joint top of Division Two West with an eight-try, bonus-point victory at hapless Nantymoel.

The win puts them level with Mumbles at the top, who triumphed 26-13 at home to Carmarthen Athletic, but missed out on a bonus point against their stubborn opponents.

Kidwelly continued to run in the tries, this time putting six past Tumble in a 42-20 win. That moves them level with third-placed Lougher, who scraped past Gorseinon 26-23, but they also missed the bonus point.

Elsewhere, Penclawdd won at Cwmavon and Pontyberem beat Pencoed.

In Division Three, it was Aberystwyth who prevailed against Laugharne in the battle between the third and fourth-placed sides, coming through 24-19, while the leaders Ammanford recorded a 34-3 bonus-point win over Cwmgors and second-placed Llanbydder matched them with a six-try, 36-12 win over Pembroke Dock Quins.

Hendy were the top scorers in Division Four with eight tries in their 53-7 demolition of Neyland.
