WITH the top three teams in Division Three (West) all sidelined by the weather, Aberystwyth took the chance to leapfrog over Ammanford and Llanybydder and move into second spot behind Laugharne as they beat Amman United 19-0.
Scrum-half Tom Evans, together with centres Rhys Morgan and Barry Thomas, grabbed their tries and full-back Gwilym Evans landed two conversions.
Cardigan moved into third place as they trounced Cwmgors 42-0.
Tries came from skipper Colin Davies (2), Arwyn Wilson (2), Dafydd Evans, Robert Davies, Owain Evans and Iestyn Crompton, with Colin Davies kicking one conversion.
Pembroke Dock Quins won 15-6 in a local derby against Haverfordwest.
