Carmarthen Quins 15-43 Cardiff
CARDIFF turned the tables on Carmarthen Quins for a cup defeat at Carmarthen Park three years ago.
The Blue and Blacks proved too streetwise for the first division promotion hopefuls with wing Nathan Rees collecting four tries.
Though Quins gave it their best shot during the first half, and only trailed 17-8 at the break, they needed to score first on the restart.
But the seven-times cup winners, who were well served by ex-Quins fly-half Craig Evans, pulled clear with wing Rees stealing the show.
