THIS was a big day for the Saracens – their first game at their new home in Maesglas where they have taken a 50-year lease on the ground.
They could also bring a little experience to bear, with a certain Jason Forster making his debut after joining the Sarries from Rotherham.
Although the visitors had the first-half advantage of a strong wind, and led 16-5 at one point, Forster made sure there was no panic in the ranks, and the Newport side took control in the first 15 minutes of the second half.
