Cross Keys 13 Glamorgan Wanderers 8
KEYS struck early on a wet pitch at Pandy Park, Rhys Miller cashing in on quick lineout ball from Tom Lampard.
Leon Andrews converted and put over two penalties to give the hosts a comfortable 13-0 opening cushion.
A shrewd kick to the corner from acting Wanderers skipper Harry Trelawny gave Simon Rosser the chance to reduce the lead and he slid over for an unconverted try.
Keys were value for their 13-5 interval lead, running the ball at their rivals.
Gareth Williams-Davies dented the Keys lead with a penalty in the second half before both sides lost locks to the sin bin for slowing down play, Ben Watkins (Keys) and Keith Stewart (Wanderers).
Watkins’ team mate Scott Mitchell followed him into the bin and the 13 men held out to give Keys their seventh win of the season.
