Cardiff coaches look for capital gains

CARDIFF City and Blues bosses Dave Jones and Dai Young are hoping their sides can both deliver capital success this weekend.

On the city’s own Super Sunday, the Bluebirds will take on Barnsley in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley while the Blues travel to face Toulouse in the Heineken Cup quarter-final.

“We’re sharing a training facility with the Blues and I’ve got to know their coach David Young as a result of that,” said Jones. “A bond is being built there and we want the Blues to beat Toulouse as much as they want us to beat Barnsley.”

Blues chief Young echoed the sentiment.

He said: “It would be great to see the Bluebirds in the FA Cup final and it would be great if we could earlier clinch a victory in Toulouse.”
