THE Blues have never met Toulouse in the Heineken Cup, but the old Cardiff club side and the French giants locked horns including the inaugural final at the Arms Park where Toulouse triumphed 21-18 after extra time.

In the three other matches the result has always gone with the home side with Cardiff winning one at the Arms Park and Toulouse triumphing twice on their own patch.

1995-1996: Heineken Cup Final (Arms Park National Ground) Toulouse 21 Cardiff 18.

1996-7: Toulouse 36 Cardiff 20.

2000-1: Cardiff 26 Toulouse 17 (Arms Park), Toulouse 38 Cardiff 27 (Toulouse).
