The media war of words between former lovers Sian Lloyd and Lembit Opik has gone glossy.
The popular weathergirl and her ex-fiance MP have been trading blows in the tabloids since they split just before Christmas after six years together - and Lembit, bizarrely, revealed he was dating a Cheeky Girl.
After some very public and bitter words between the two, both have now dished the dirt to Hello! magazine, sharing the front page as if they were global A-listers.
Sian, 48, looks at home on the cover in a checked trench coat, a pair of shades and glowing head of blonde hair, while Lembit and his new squeeze, pop star Gabriella Irimia, look like the original odd couple.
The Liberal Democrat MP and the young Romanian, who shot to fame with her twin sister Monica and their 2002 hit The Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum), both seem to be forcing smiles for the camera.
But, despite the raised eyebrows in Westminster, Lembit insists his new relationship is a 'meeting of minds' and said: 'Gabi is insightful, bright, sharp, challenging and very funny.
'She is strong-minded and she challenges me intellectually. She demands respect as a person just because of who she is.'
But, in the eight-page interview, the Montgomeryshire MP admits that he and the 24-year-old singer are 'the oddest couple in Britain'.
The 41-year-old says he has fended off Parliamentary jibes and now believes he has the full support of his party.
He joked: 'My friends and colleagues have been very supportive, but they continue to sing the Cheeky Song to me.'
In her feature, Sian speaks frankly about the end of their relationship and describes Lembit's new love affair as a 'pantomime'.
After spending Christmas at her Montgomeryshire home, she said: 'I am feeling good and feeling very relaxed. I guess one of the reasons for that is that Lembit is no longer in my life.
'This is the only relationship in my life from which I don't see a friendship emerging, because it has ended in a very negative way.'
