Police hunt for missing woman

POLICE in Merthyr Tydfil are appealing for information following the disappearance of a 42-year-old woman.

Denise Wintle from the Treharris area of the town left home at 4.15 pm on Thursday and has not been seen since.

Police believe she may have made her way to the London area.

Mrs Wintle is described as white, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, with brown eyes and collar length dark brown wavy hair.

She was last seen wearing blue denim jeans and a light blue fleece jacket. Anyone with information is asked to contact South Wales Police on 01656 655555 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
