City streets to close for cranes’ removal

VEHICLE access to parts of Cardiff city centre are to be closed to remove two cranes from the St David’s 2 site.

The closure of The Hayes, Mill Lane and Hayes Bridge Road be from midnight tomorrow until 6am on Monday and from midnight on Friday, May 23, until 6am on Monday, May 26. Access for pedestrians and vehicles making deliveries will not be affected.

Andrew Dudley, project director for St David’s 2, said: “There will be temporary diversions in place and the second closure, over the Bank holiday weekend, will cause minimal disruption but shops and restaurants will be open for business as normal.”
