Training talks held for St Athan project

THE type of training that thousands of cadets from the Armed Forces will receive at St Athan’s multi-billion pound Defence Training Academy was top of the agenda at discussions between Vale MP John Smith and one of the leading companies in the development.

Mr Smith held the talks during a visit to the Farnborough offices of defence technology company Qinetiq, which is part of the Metrix consortium responsible for delivering the academy at St Athan.
