Man found in ditch

AN ELDERLY man was taken to hospital after being lifted out of a ditch at a crematorium.

The man, believed to be in his early 80s, was suffering from hypothermia and multiple fractures after he was rescued by emergency services at Glyntaff Crematorium, in Pontypridd, at 3.50pm yesterday.

He was lifted out of a culvert by paramedics and firefighters from Pontypridd before being taken by ambulance to the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant.
