A tougher flower

FLOWERS which are more sustainable could be a feature of the displays in South Wales in future years.

The plantings will give greater protection against theft and resistance to hot temperatures and cold and windy periods.

Caerphilly council officials say the move is in line with national trends to provide more sustainable and colourful features, with water conservation key.
