Charlotte’s old school helps organ appeal

PUPILS at Charlotte Church’s former school held a concert to raise money for one of Cardiff’s most historic churches.

More than 200 students from Howells School, Llandaff, performed pieces by Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Vivaldi, as well as more contemporary songs, in aid of Llandaff Cathedral’s organ appeal.

Llandaff Cathedral’s congregation is aiming to raise £1.5m to fund a new organ after the old one was struck by lightening during a stormlast year. The new instrument is due to be installed in 2010s.
