Ama’s funeral to take place in Ghana

THE funeral of Ghanaian cancer victim Ama Sumani was due to take place today.
Mother-of-two Ama, 39, who died weeks after being removed from hospital in Cardiff while undergoing cancer treatment, will be buried in Wenchi in the Brong-Ahafo region of Ghana.
Her close friend Janet Symmons, from Cardiff, was due to attend Ama’s funeral. Ama’s death on March 19 sparked outrage at home and abroad.
