PRINCE Charles is to visit staff and volunteers at the National Trust owned Bodnant Garden in North Wales on April 25.
Bodnant Garden is located above the Conwy Valley offering views of Snowdonia, and features Italianate terraces and a collection of rhododendrons and azaleas.
It’s also home to an original and much-copied laburnum arch, a 55-metre long tunnel that flowers between May and June, which helps attract more than 150,000 visitors to the garden each year.
The Prince will be following in the footsteps of both the Queen and Prince Philip, who visited Bodnant Garden in 1977 during the Silver Jubilee year.
It is the first of a number of garden visits launched by the Gateway Gardens Trust to mark the Prince of Wales’ 60th birthday.
