A BINGO-PLAYING grandmother is quids in after winning £35,000.
The foster mother, 59, from Aberdare, who wants to remain anonymous, won the national, regional and house prize at Castle Bingo, Treforest Industrial Estate, Nantgarw.
But the woman, who is also a mother of tow, is keen to share her windfall with her two bingo-playing friends and also plans to take her family on holiday.
“I’m going to splash out now,” she said.
“I’m not going to save it. If you’ve been given some money you might as well enjoy it.”
The prize winner, who has been married for 42 years, has been playing bingo for longer than she can remember and been a member of the Castle club since it opened.
