Territorial Army will throw opens the doors of Cardiff’s Maindy Barracks for an open day next week.
The Welsh Transport Regiment is putting Army life up for inspection at the barracks on Saturday, April 5, where potential soldiers and visitors can find out more about Army life.
Visitors can try their hand at climbing walls and have a go at skills such as cooking in a field kitchen. Military vehicles and equipment will also be on display, and members of the Welsh Transport Regiment and the Regular Army will also be on hand to answer questions.
There will also be a fairground with all proceeds raised going to St Monica’s Church in Wales School and the Army Benevolent Fund.
