AN animal welfare charity has voiced fears over a change in stray dog legislation.
Dogs Trust, which has a rehoming centre in Bridgend, fears that strays will be left wandering the streets when the law changes next month.
From April, police will no longer be obliged to take in stray dogs, leaving councils with the responsibility.
But the charity fears the service will not be as good.
