A SUPERMARKET has raised £130,000 for the Red Cross charity to help needy people across Wales.
Customers and staff at Tesco have clubbed together to donate money and goods for the store’s charity of the year and 20 per cent was added to the final total from Tesco’s Charity Trust.
Under the partnership banner of Crisis care in your neighbourhood, all the money will be spent locally by the British Red Cross on first-aid training, emergency equipment and care in the home services.
