IT SEEMS likely to be a few days before we know how exactly we’ll be able to commemorate our marvellous Grand Slam win.
It’s understood that there are a whole set of logistical problems to iron out regarding dates and player availability, with a hectic club calendar following straight on from the end of the Six Nations. So we appreciate that organising something like an open-top bus tour might not be the easiest thing in the world.
But then neither is winning a Grand Slam.
These occasions haven’t come round too often in recent years, so on behalf of the fans itching for a glimpse of their heroes, we’re pleading with everyone concerned to make sure that our all-conquering stars get the celebration they deserve.
