A BOY of 16 appeared in court yesterday accused of murdering a young woman out walking her dog.
Hairdresser Kelly Hyde, 24, was found dead in woodland where she had been walking her pet whippet.
She vanished after dropping her car for repairs at a garage near Ammanford on September 27 last year.
She planned to walk the two miles back to her flat with her dog, but had walked only a few hundred yards when she was attacked at the village of Pantyffynon.
The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, denies murder and spoke only to confirm his name at Swansea Crown Court
The teenager was remanded in custody for a trial in June.
