BBC Wales presenter Lucy Owen gave birth to a baby boy yesterday.
Gabriel, who is Lucy and her husband Rhodri’s first child, weighed in at 5lb 12oz.
Mother and baby are said to be doing well, and Lucy and Rhodri have announced they are “over the moon” with the new addition to the Owen household.
Lucy, 36, has been on maternity leave from her job at the BBC since the beginning of March. She announced that she was pregnant in September, after undergoing fertility treatment.
The couple, who live in Llangan, Vale of Glamorgan, were married in 2004, and spent three years trying for a baby before Gabriel was conceived.
