A MOTORIST accused of trying to drive into a community support officer who had put a parking ticket on his car is on bail today after the charge was dropped.
Jeffrey Bevan, 37, of Long Row, Blaenllechau, denied attempting to cause grievous bodily harm to Denzil Head in Ferndale High Street.
He also pleaded not guilty to driving dangerously but admitted he shouldn’t have been behind the wheel because he was banned.
Cardiff Crown Court prosecutors agreed to drop the two charges when he pleaded guilty to being involved in an affray when he found he’d received a ticket.
