Bright and casual for two tragic teenagers

THE FUNERALS of two of the tragic teenagers believed to have killed themselves in Bridgend are to take place.

People attending 15-year-old Nathaniel Pritchard’s funeral have been asked to wear casual clothes, while the family of 16-year-old Jenna Parry have requested that bright colours and butterflies be worn to her service.

Nathaniel, described as “much loved” in yesterday’s family notice in the Echo, will be given his final farewell on Friday, at Coychurch Crematorium at 11.30am.

Jenna’s funeral on Monday is also being held at Coychurch at 11.30am. Jenna’s family asked for donations to be made to the Samaritans.

“She will be sadly missed by her loving family and many friends,” her notice read.

Nathan, of Ystrad Fawr, Cefn Glas, died on February 15, the same day his cousin, Kelly Stephenson, was found hanged while on holiday in Kent.

Jenna, of Bryn Terrace, Cefn Cribwr, was found hanged from a tree on Cefn Cribwr Common, on February 19.
