Team leader is named as finalist in leading awards

A TEAM leader from Cardiff council says he is honoured to be named a finalist in the Leading Wales Awards 2008.

Steve Hyde, the city centre team leader in Cardiff council’s Adult Services, is one of four finalists in the Leadership as a Team Leader category of the competition.

Barbara Chidgey, of the Leading Wales Awards, said: “Our finalists have all made an impact with their leadership and we are delighted to recognise that with these awards.”

Mr Hyde said: “I am honoured and delighted to have been short-listed.

“But it’s the work of the city centre team that should be recognised most.”
