PIE men from South Wales stormed London Fashion week to dish out pies, pasties and sausage rolls to skinny models.
The “Starvation Army”, from the Bedwas depot of Peter’s Food Service, delivered 10 boxes of savoury products to a catwalk show in East London in an attempt to bring curves back to the catwalk.
To show them what they are missing Miss Wales contestants tucked into some of the pies.
David Jackson, technical director for Peter’s, said: “We know the models at London Fashion week work hard and will appreciate a good meal – who knows it may even be the end of size zero.”
The series of London Fashion Week shows will end on Friday night with the new collection from Merthyr Tydfil-born designer Julien Macdonald.
