A COMPANY has smashed its fundraising target to help children with cerebral palsy.
Picture Financial, based in Newport, pledged to raise £23,000 for Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre in Whitchurch, Cardiff, within a year but they actually raised £29,470.
Gail Griffiths, Bobath’s fundraising manager, said: “We are honoured to have a company like Picture on board and are thankful for all their support.”
The money was raised through fundraising including dress-down days, bake sales, karaoke nights, raffles and auctions.
Neville Allport, chief executive of Picture, said: “It’s thanks to the hard work and determination of our employees.”
