Fashion job for rugby wag Jo Popham

A WELSH rugby Wag is the new face of a shopping centre.

Jo Popham, wife of Wales and Llanelli Scarlets back row Alix Popham, is now resident fashion expert at Talbot Green Shopping Park.

Jo, who lives in Bridgend, will write a monthly style column for the centre’s website.

She will also join the site’s search for the Fashion Faces of Talbot Green, encouraging Welsh women to celebrate their individual style.

Working mum Jo, who was last year voted Sexiest Welsh Woman of the Year, said she was thrilled with her new position.

She said: “I love shopping and am a follower of fashion but I know what suits me and what doesn’t. I’m a real high street shopper but I wear a mix of things to create my own style.”

Jo said she recommends people try out new fashion styles as long as they feel comfortable.

She added: “Designer labels can be so expensive and often impractical to wear. However it’s worth taking ideas from fashion magazines with you when you go shopping on the high street.”
