River jump death man named

A MAN whose body was found by police divers after he was seen jumping off a bridge into a river was named yesterday.

Floral tributes in memory of 20-year-old Shaun Hugh Bowen, from Blaenymaes, Swansea, were attached to the city’s busy Quay Parade yesterday.

His body was recovered on Monday by South Wales Police’s Search and Recovery Team around 15 metres downstream from the bridge over the River Tawe.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances. An inquest will be held later this year.
