Consumer council boss appointed
FORMER Swansea Council chief executive Vivienne Sugar has been appointed chair of the new Welsh Consumer Council.
Mrs Sugar, of Caswell, Gower, a Swansea University don, has been a member of the consumer council for some years.
From October, the Government will revamp Energywatch, Postwatch and consumer councils in England, Scotland and Wales, streamlining them and giving them new powers.
