Teens’ new roles

TEENAGERS are being encouraged to take a step towards becoming sports coaches this half-term.

Rhondda Cynon Taf council’s sports development team will be hosting the inaugural Coaches of the Future coaching festival.

Pontypridd High School and Treorchy Comprehensive will be used as the bases to run a series of workshops aimed at pupils aged 14 to18. The aim of Coaches of the Future is to increase the number of active coaches and volunteers available to community clubs and schools.
