CASTELL Coch, the Gothic castle on the outskirts of Cardiff, is now closed for routine cleaning and essential maintenance.
The shutdown until Saturday, February 9, will allow a team of experts from Cadw, the Welsh Assembly Government’s historic environment service, the chance to carry out essential housekeeping and conservation work. Exterior work will include gutter clearing and repair, chimney sweeping, re-pointing and removal of graffiti.
